This book was very different because at the end of each chapter, there was a cliffhanger which made me more determined to finish the book. It was a mystery which I love because when I read mystery books, I feel like I am also trying to solve the mystery as I read the book and find clues. It gives me an opportunity to let my imagination flow and come up with different possibilities which could help solve the mystery. In my opinion, this book was a great read and it had lots of suspense as i said at the beginning. It makes the reader more intrigued into the book and makes them want to read more. I have given this book a 5 star rating because it has a very different lesson taught by the end of the book. The lesson taught was to never jump to conclusions without fully investigating the situation. This really spoke to me because now I will never think about the negatives without fully figuring out what the situation is or coming to the end. I will always keep trying and will never give up as this is what Mr Hawking had told Carver in the book. Read it to find more out about the lesson learned the intense twist at the end. This could byfar be one of the best books I have read!

I love a good mystery and this story is just that. Set in the turn-of-the-century New York, Ripper is a fun and exciting mystery tale that seems to have it all: chases, intrigue, the crazy mentor, roof-top fights, romance, nifty little gadgets, and a jaw dropping plot twist that you don’t see coming. While the mystery is intricate, the reader will still be able to following the story. You are never quite sure where the trail will lead, but you can be assured that there will be adventure along the way. You may want to check out titles Dodger and The Hunchback Assignments.
