Fantastically imaginative with plentiful action, White's Well of Witches will please fans greatly as Kara, Taff and friends go on a journey into the World and beyond to save their father, stop Rygoth and stay alive.

The tone of the series has definitely lightened and is leaning more towards adventure and action. As always, Kara and co. are a joy to read, seemingly the only genuinely good people I have encountered throughout the series. Hopefully, they will get some help from the adults soon.

I consider this series a must read for middle-graders (and older) who love stories of magic, family love, true friendships and a good ole fight between two great powers.
