In our blue planet, in the Antarctic continent, on a frozen coast a penguin grows up until it is ready to "jump" and start being an excellent swimmer. Beautiful story about the animal survival habits in the South Pole. Attractive to learn vocabulary: about that hidden colorful world, about southern water animals, what they eat and how they coexist in that ecosystem. It is one book of the "ONE DAY ON OUR PLANET" series.

An enjoyable, descriptive story about a penguin, with simple text and entertaining illustrations of other animals in the antarctic. Endpaper images identify dozens of animals that live above and below the ice. Ages 3-6
