A young hip-hop singer on the verge of fame sees his future jeopardized by a rival group on a crucial night. Angelot is a young Haitian man who arrived in Quebec in the nineties at the age of ten. Twenty years later, Angelot, who now calls himself Leslie, has become the leader of a hip-hop group. Leslie falls into a life of petty crime by taking over his brother's business after his incarceration. The money it brings helps bankroll the production of his first album, which he hopes will be his ticket out of the ghetto.
