reproductive rights activist dr. rebecca gomperts is a brave woman possessed of intelligence and a wiry grace, and her charismatic personality drives this important film. Vessel explores the worldwide oppression of women and goes on to offer clear DIY instructions on how to use the abortion pill.

This 2014 film is a documentary about a woman who goes around the world in a ship performing abortions at sea just outside the jurisdiction of countries where it is outlawed.

No matter where you fall on the political issue of abortion, this documentary is worth watching. Interesting, heart-wrenching, thought-provoking, informative - it is time worth spending on the story of a woman and her passion to help others.
