For all who have not seen and may never see the film "Girl Rising," this book is a must read. Presenting the importance that education plays globally in breaking the cycle of poverty with examples from around the world, author Stone presents us with a thoroughly documented book of individual girls from many impoverished countries.
I was gripped by both the backgrounds & experiences of the girls and their courage, perseverance and hope.
