A National Best Seller on its First Publication-Leap of Faith is the dramatic and inspiring story of an American woman's remarkable journey into the heart of a man and his nation. Born into a distinguished Arab-American family and raised amid privilege, Lisa Halaby joined the first freshman class at Princeton to accept women, graduating in 1974 with a degree in architecture and urban planning. Four years later, after a whirlwind, secret courtship with King Hussein, Lisa Halaby became Noor al Hussein, Queen of Jordan. Queen Noor speaks with eloquence and candor of the obstacles she faced as a naive young bride in the royal court. She creates a compelling portrait of her late husband and his lifelong effort to bring peace to his war-torn region, providing a unique perspective of an American in an Arab world. With a new afterword by the author, Leap of Faith is best defined as a powerful love story-the intimate account of a woman who lost her heart to a king, and to his people.

Queen Noor's book can really be an eye-opener for some people. Like Reggie53 said, it shows a different side to the middle east. I recommend it!
I really loved this book to me this was a page turner i read almost the whole book. Queeb noor and her husband the king of jordorn did great thing for their county. The a great example that their are many good leaders and musulsms in the middle east
Very interesting! I thought it presented a totally different perspective of the Middle East. It makes you think the King got a bad rap. She is definitely more than just a pretty face! She is an intelligent woman to be admired for her contributions to Jordan. I really liked this book.
