"With a heart that won't quit, a stomach that won't stop gurgling and a self-sworn oath to protect his turf, he's Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Mild-mannered Paul Blart (Kevin James, "The King of Queens") has always had huge dreams of becoming a State Trooper. Until then, he patrols the local mall as a security guard. With his closely cropped moustache, personal transporter and gung-ho attitude, only Blart seems to take his job seriously. All that changes when a team of thugs raids the malls and takes hostages. Untrained, unarmed and a super-size target, Blart has to become a real cop to save the day."--Container.

When a group of criminals overtake the mall, Paul Blart is the only cop left on the inside. Can Paul Blart, a mall cop save the day against a group of armed criminals? Paul Blart Mall Cop was an amazing movie and really funny, I would definitely recommend this movie to watch with family and friends. I think that Kevin James who plays Paul Blart did a fantastic job with his acting and he really made the movie better in my opinion. Overall, I would give this movie a rating of 4.5/5.

Besides the sexual talk, it was a funny movie. Recommended.

Surprisingly bad. 2 of 10 stars might be too generous.

Fair – Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) 91 min. Kevin James, best known for his work in the television show “The King of Queens”, stars in this insulting homage to all mall cops out there – to all mall cops, my deepest sympathy. What else does one expect from Adam Sandler’s production house “Happy Madison”. Kevin James, himself is quite likeable, which is the only quality that keeps this film afloat. Paul Blart is in love; unfortunately, he has the confidence of a Toronto Maple Leaf hockey player vying for a playoff spot. To win the love of his paramour, Paul must rescue her and other mall customers from a bunch of ninja-type baddies intent of extorting $30 million?!? The catch: he has a low blood sugar disorder that causes frequent black-outs. Some of the action stunts are actually pretty good but overall, the film is totally forgettable. Note to producers: a sequel is so not necessary.

A man called Paul Blart, who has applied as a cop, and almost passed - except he fell asleep inches from the line. The reason? He has a low blood sugar disorder, and he has to eat sugar every once in a while so he doesn't black out. After failing, he applies as a mall cop. He finds a woman working at a stall, Amy, and instantly falls in love. While he is distracted playing video games in the store arcade, a gang takes over the mall and keep hostages -including Amy. Blart must prove himself by rescuing the hostages and overtaking the gang. After being made a hero for rescuing everyone, Amy and Paul are married (not in the movie, pictures in the credits)
