Footage is magnificent. The narrative? Well, it starts out as a massive and very tiring "guilt trip." Then as the movie drags on one notices a pattern: all the human beings depicted in the movie are either African or Asian, and none are Native American or Northern European. The gist of the movie seems to be that thanks to the wonders of modern scientific progress that's been in place for the last 6,000 years all these black and brown people are breeding themselves into a climate catastrophe, and all the "better people" better watch out because they're coming to get you. They probably didn't actually mean to be racist, but after a time watching the movie through eyes that see the racism, it's pretty depressing. I'd skip watching this movie if I were you unless you want to turn the sound off, which would make it better.
